Set out on a journey through the Baja desert on this 3-hour outback and camel ride safari tour! Your day begins with a complimentary hotel pickup in one of our air-conditioned vans that will take you to our Tierra Sagrada ranch (about 45 minutes of travel time from Cabo San Lucas). Upon arrival, we’ll introduce you to the camel you’ll be riding on for a 20-minute ride along the desert and beside the Pacific Ocean. Take a quick stop to meet a camel and pose for a photo before discovering the richness of the Baja culture with the advice of our expert guides on an educational nature walk. How long is this tour?
This excursion is approximately 3 hours plus transportation to Tierra Sagrada.
Where is this tour taking place?
Situated in one of the largest unpopulated and pristine deserts in Mexico Rancho “Tierra Sagrada” is located 45 minutes north of Cabo San Lucas hidden away from bustling resorts and close to charming pueblitos like Cerritos and Todos Santos.
What clothes do I need to wear for the tour?
Comfortable shoes for walking preferably tennis shoes or boots, shorts, comfortable shirt and cap or hat. Light sweater is recommended in winter months.
Is it a family tour?
Yes it is an ideal tour for the whole family and children over 5 years of age can ride a camel.
Are there other activities besides the camel ride?
You will start your tour enjoying a camel ride and camel interaction. After these activities you will take a guided walk where you will see the flora and fauna of the Baja region. Your tour also includes a delicious buffet and tequila, mezcal and damiana tasting; this liquor is made from a plant that grows in the desert of Baja California Sur.

Can I bring my camera?
For safety reasons our guests should be holding on to the saddle with both hands at all times during the camel ride; for this reason it is not allowed to have a camera/phone in your hands. Part of our mission is to give our guests an extraordinary adventure while on vacation whilst learning and discovering all that nature has to offer here at the Baja. Creating a safe, fun and unforgettable experience is our end goal.   • Round-trip transportation is included from select hotels exclusively for our guests who book their tours at least 24 hours in advance. For reservations booked less than 24 hours in advance it is necessary to call (624) 173-9528.
