Planning the perfect vacation can be overwhelming when there are so many amazing things you want to see and do! Traveling in Cancun is no exception — how do you pack everything in or choose favorites?
Fortunately, the experts at Cancun Adventures have all the information you need for traveling in Cancun. We offer various tours for all types of travelers, and we can help you put together the perfect itinerary for a weekend getaway or a full week of adventure.
Cancun Travel Guide for a Weekend Getaway
If you only have a weekend to travel to Cancun, don’t worry! There is still plenty of time for soaking up the sun and culture. If you fly out on Friday and arrive in the evening, you’ll have two full days to enjoy your trip before flying home on Sunday night.
Check into your hotel or resort and get settled, then enjoy a Cancun Sunset Cruise along the Caribbean coastline. You’ll have the best seat in the house aboard a luxury catamaran when the sun dips below the horizon. An open bar and snacks are provided, so it’s the perfect way to kick back and relax after a long flight while still experiencing the Cancun aesthetics.
This is the day you’ll want to fit in as much as possible, which is why we recommend the Coba & Reef Adventure. This full-day tour has a little bit of everything to make sure you hit the important stuff. First, you’ll venture into the jungle to the ancient Mayan city of Coba where you can climb to the top of Nohoch Mul, the tallest of the Mayan temples. The breathtaking view from the top is like nothing you’ve ever seen, so be sure to bring your camera!
After Coba, you’ll get to go snorkeling in an exotic and colorful coral reef full of tropical fish and other marine wildlife. Then enjoy a buffet lunch at our exclusive beach hideaway and spend some time relaxing and playing on the sand. You’ll be back to your hotel by dinner for some downtime or a night out.
After a day packed with adventure, you may want to slow things down a bit. Our Isla Mujeres Tour & Luxury Sailing Adventure is a great option for fun and culture while relaxing. Hop in our luxury catamaran and sail the coast, but instead of the sunset, you’ll get to visit some beautiful and prominent locations including Isla Mujeres. You can relax at the beach, explore the island, or wander through the town tasting authentic cuisine and shopping at local boutiques. You’ll be back in time to catch a flight home or squeeze in some sightseeing in downtown Cancun.
