Our Sea Safari is a unique ecotourism adventure that takes you through the quaint fishing villages of Banderas Bay. Along the way, you'll be amazed by the lush coastal landscapes until we reach the picturesque villages of Quimixto, Yelapa, and Pizota, known for their deep fishing roots and rich cultural traditions.
Stop in Quimixto to get a taste of traditional life in a fishing village
In Quimixto, you'll explore its charming streets, learn about the community's rich history, and visit a traditional home, where you'll be welcomed with the warmth and hospitality that defines the villages of Cabo Corrientes. You'll also enjoy authentic tacos, made with handmade tortillas, a true sample of the local gastronomy.
Mule & Horseback Riding Tour in Yelapa
Upon your arrival to Yelapa, your adventure begins on one of our horses or mules. You'll be saddled up and take a gentle mile-long ride along narrow, twisting paths along the beautiful Yelapa River. As you enjoy your ride, you may see pelicans and herons, and if you’re lucky you might spot iguanas, parrots, coatimundi, or an ocelot slinking by!
Snorkeling and kayaking in Pizota
In Pizota, we’ll stop at a hidden cove, perfect for snorkeling and discovering colorful reefs and vibrant marine life. For those who prefer to enjoy the bay from the surface, you’ll also have the option to paddle in a kayak and admire the stunning landscape from a calm and peaceful perspective.
Finally, BBQ by the beach
To end the day, you’ll enjoy a delicious beachfront BBQ at the serene fishing town of Pizota, far from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta.
